Kay Quintana, co owner of Looking Glass Yarns and Gifts will demonstrate the use of yarns and beads to create one of a kind ropes, i-cords, braids, and much more. Kay will emphasize the use of fiber and fiber techniques to make jewelry. She will include many examples of finished projects and bring new and unique yarns for knitting and weaving. Kay Quintana october workshop
Reminder:
Please sign up for the Tuesday, October 5th workshop ( following the morning meeting described in the September newsletter). Kay Quintana will be our morning speaker and is offering a 2 hour class on crocheting a very fine wire necklace with beads.
NO experience necessary!
It is beautiful and easy to make (Kay makes them out of thread and yarns also). Class fee is $25. It will be from 12:30 - 2:30 so bring your own lunch. Materials can be brought from home or purchased in class. Please register with Mariel by September 26th.
