Holiday Potluck at EVFAC
Las Tejedoras annual potluck will be held at Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center on SATURDAY morning, December 4. Punch and coffee will be served at 9:30 for the social hour followed by a short meeting.
The program will be: Jane Abbott who will speak to us on a cooperative of weavers, the Dhaka Weavers, in Nepal. They weave in fine threads, cotton and some silk, very intricate and beautiful designs. She is bringing scarves and other things woven by them for purchase.
Members and guests are asked to bring their own service (plates and silver) and a handwoven placemat to eat upon.
Every person with a last name beginning with A - M should make a salad or an entrée. N - Z please bring a dessert.
